This site is dedicated to the Lotus Elise in its various forms - the "r" in "elise-r" refers to the original site which was all about my conversion of a stock(ish) Elise S1 to a Honda K20a powered beastie. The K20a being sourced from a UK Honda Civic Type-R. Since then there are now hundreds of Honda powered Elise in existence from various suppliers and also other engine conversions (and modifications of the original Rover K Series engine) have appeared with various degrees of engineering and commercial success.
This site is dedicated to bringing news and views on the Lotus Elise/Exige but will concentrate on the conversion and modification community.
Basically there is far too much bullshit whispered behind closed doors or on forums with vested interests in protecting their advertisers. Expect to find interesting stuff on here but also expect to see the truth - snake oil salesmen might not like what they see but then tough shit.
