From the IPS website:
All fully sponsored parts must be returned to IPS. These consigned components may not be sold for personal gain as they are for promotional use only by means of active participation through racing. In the event that a racer chooses to withdraw from competition, all fully sponsored parts provided by IPS must be sent back so that they may be re-distributed to other racers.
IPS have been showing many signs that all is not totally well with them at the moment, while its reasonable that they want the kit back - if for nothing more than testing (having the shit kicked out of a part then getting to check how its failing is invaluable) have they totally lost control of their sponsorship base that they have to post this in public on their fecking website? Do they not have email? At the end of season many platforms get sold on - its a fact of life, get used to it.
Of course its nothing to do with the rumour that there are piles of free IPS cams being pulled out and being replaced with stuff that actually works. I suppose the temptation to ebay them while the ricer fan boys still are prepared to pay silly money for hot air must be very strong.
