My car has the engine in situ, with it's manifold made and all tooling made for the mounts, manifold and adapter set up. I have the cooling/injection and management system ready to bolt on. I still have to design my own Oil Filter set up and Alternator packaging. The whole kit has been designed properly, not just built in the car as I have always intended intend to sell on to like minded individuals. I also have numerous specialists keen to support with drive in drive out services going forward. I am an experienced Automotive Chassis Engineer and have used my own experiences in work and life to build a decent kit.
Let's not get away with the fact that there is just as much engineering required for the Duratec as a Honda, so it's never going to be 'cheap'. There is no reaosn why decent DIY people can't be powered by Duratec for way less than £5k though
