I have registered to confirm Dave's previous posting about my engine. Erland is indeed lying and Dave had no part in the bushing of my VHPD Rods. The company I used was Paynes of Oxford.
I am happy to discuss this with anyone interested, please send me a private message on the forum (if such a feature exists).
And I would strongly urge anyone considering parting with money for an Erland engine to think long and hard and do the appropriate research across the numerous forums (the majority of which he has been removed from - I think that in itself speaks volumes). Under no circumstances part with any cash up front.
Dave has helped me many times over the years and ported a number of heads for me, all to the highest standards and producing excellent results. AFAIK he has been porting K series head since 1997 and the lead times he has always quoted suggest that his work can't be too shabby, as so many want to take advantage of it! And there are the countless rolling road results proving his work.
Dave has recently ported the head from my latest engine. Its a very special engine - one of the 6 1.4 K Turbos built for the MF EX-F landspeed record attempt. It has only done run-in/mapping dyno time at Rover and made around 340bhp.
As you can imagine I wouldn't trust anyone but the best to work on such a special engine.
I would happily stand up in a court of law to give evidence to prove that Erland is indeed full of ****, and so often posts lies about those he has personal vendettas with.
